Abstract As of today, the problem lack non-destructive methods for assessing state and determining residual life insulation electrical cables is relevant cable lines in operation, especially that have exhausted their service life. The research presented framework this article aimed at creating a technique insulation. study was carried out using computer simulation basic theoretical laws physics engineering. A method condition has been developed, which based on analysis discharge time capacity. applicability determined, instructions are given its output data. obtained results can be used by power grid companies industrial enterprises to analyze cables.
